The “Data file options…” dialog box is used to set preferences for data files such as default numerical precision (number of decimals) in tables, default rules for calculating contingency and fractiles, and default plot options.

The dialog box is split up into three different views:

	• Precision
	• Contingency
	• Plots

To select a particular view, you click on its corresponding icon in the icon bar at the left-hand side of the dialog box.
